Wilson Care Group consists of two long-term care organizations: Wilson Homecare and Wilson Senior Living in Kailua. Wilson Homecare is a state-licensed, private-duty home health care agency that specializes in placing qualified individuals into the homes of elderly folks and disabled people here in Honolulu and Oahu as a whole. Wilson Senior Living in Kailua is a state-licensed, type II adult residential care home that welcomes elderly loved ones who are no longer able to live at home. The History of Wilson Care

Founded in 1996 by Shelley Wilson, Wilson Homecare has grown to become Hawaii’s largest private-duty home health care agency. Positions for Caregivers, Nurse Aides, and CNAs

Any individual entering the home of Oahu residents must display integrity and trustworthiness in everything that they do.

Caregivers, CNAs, and nurse aides work in the client’s Oahu home by providing personal care, companionship, assistance with the activities of daily living, errand running, and all duties related to home care. Tasks that you’d be responsible for include (but are not limited to) bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, facilitating a range of motion exercises, assisting ambulation with a wheelchair, walker, or cane, incontinence care, toileting, taking vital signs, housekeeping, meal preparation, daily paperwork/charting.   • Minimum three months of hands-on, personal caregiving experience with the activities of daily living
  • Current adult CPR (plus child CPR for those who will be caring for children)
  • Current first aid certification
  • Current TB clearance, with the second step (if positive, need X-ray with proof of a positive PPD)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to ambulate within a variety of home situations
  • Clean criminal abstract
  • Access to the internet plus a valid, current email address
  • Cell phone
  • Written entry exam with 80% correct or higher (nurse aides)
  • Pass four out of five skills assessments
  • Have the legal right to work in the US
  • Possess valid, current driver’s license if willing to drive for clients
  • Clean Driver’s abstract if willing to drive for clients

Positions for RN and LPN

Their responsibilities include but are not limited to: wound care, dressing changes, vent care, G-tube feeding, catheter insertion, injections, and pain management. Homecare duties include but are not limited to personal care, companionship, running errands, assisting with the activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, range of motion exercises, assisting ambulation with wheelchair, walker, or cane, incontinence care, toileting, taking vital signs, housekeeping, meal preparation, and daily paperwork/charting. Hours vary per client needs.


Nursing Application Requirements: 

  • State of Hawaii RN or LPN current license
  • Minimum three months of hands-on, personal caregiving experience with the activities of daily living
  • Current adult CPR (plus child CPR for those who will be caring for children)
  • Current first aid certification
  • Current TB clearance plus a TB two-step done at some point
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to see and hear independently
  • Ability to ambulate within a variety of home situations
  • Clean criminal abstract
  • Access to the internet plus a valid, current email address
  • Cell phone communication
  • Written entry exam with 80% correct or higher (nurse aides)
  • Pass four out of five skills assessments
  • Have the legal right to work in the US
  • Valid, current driver’s license if willing to drive for clients
  • Driver’s abstract if willing to drive for clients
  • Upon hire, must present two valid forms of identification to satisfy I-9 requirements
